We had a great year this year! The temperature was wonderful for birding. The Audubon Society’s website is undergoing some upgrades so we are unable to enter our data until after January 10th. After this time when we get the data entered you can go online to the Audubon Society’s website and see what we saw!

See below some pictures taken by a couple of our CBC participants!

Granby Provincial Park is a wilderness area north of Grand Forks, BC. It is one of the last intact watersheds in the Southern Interior and access is limited. The lower forested drainage of this park includes old-growth stands of cedar and hemlock forest. The lower elevation forests offer hiking and fishing for experienced hikers with good outdoor skills. The grassy meadows at higher elevations form high quality grizzly habitat. The grassland meadows from an old burn are rare and is valuable as habitat for grizzly bear, deer and elk.
